YOUR PLAN

A race-prep periodized plan built just for you

This is not a fixed workout list! Each week's volume and content are built from your past data, your race day and your current ability, then arranged with Coach Hsu Kuo Feng's training logic.

Simply put — your data builds the plan, and it fits you alone!

HOW IT WORKS

How this training plan gets built

It starts from your data. Every step has a scientific basis.

How much should you train?

Only your data knows.

Some people need a very high training volume to improve; others start regressing once they cross a certain load. Training more does not mean training right. This plan first reads the data you have accumulated on RQ to determine where your training volume should sit.

How should you train?

It comes from Hsu Kuo Feng's training logic.

Once the volume is set, the next question is how to use it: which days are easy runs, which days are quality sessions, which zone the intensity sits in, how far apart two hard sessions should be. These are not generic formulas — they are judgments from the KFCS training methodology. The same volume, arranged differently, produces different results.

Your race prep, split into the cycles that fit you

  1. Base period Build the aerobic base. This phase is not about racing — it is what makes race training possible.
  2. Progression period Quality sessions come in, pushing aerobic capacity upward.
  3. Peak period Volume and intensity both reach their highest — the closest you get to race shape.
  4. Race period Let the accumulated fatigue go, and rehearse race-day pace and rhythm.

Every cycle has a mission to complete. If the previous one is not done, the next one will not work. This is the biggest difference between a periodized training plan and the free plans you find online.

An example of a personalized weekly training volume trend
Everyone's training volume is different — this trend is the personalized weekly volume computed from your current ability and data, not a shared template. Where the four cycle names come from: Under 200 km a month, still a big PB: 3:48 → 3:13

Through periodized training, bring your condition in line with race day

The length and position of all four cycles are counted backward from race day. The closer the race, the more the purpose of training changes.

Condition index curve from the same race build: fitness and fatigue converge, and the condition index turns positive right before the race
The condition index curve of the same build — the crossover where it turns positive before the race is the point.

So even for the same full marathon, your plan will not look like anyone else's! Different volume, different cycle lengths. And the whole process can be checked against data afterwards — not by feel, and not by experience alone.

This whole set of judgments comes from the training logic Hsu Kuo Feng accumulated over 20 years of coaching, the 300,000 words of feedback he wrote to athletes one message at a time, and 10 years of training data accumulated on RQ.

DAILY FEEDBACK

The plan is built — then what?

Most people take a plan and start grinding on their own. Whether they trained right, they usually only find out on race day.

Kuo Feng x AI race training plan, from the day the plan is generated until race day, gives you a Kuo Feng x AI training analysis after every session. The coach's feedback also reads three things against the plan:

Plans you find online are fixed — whatever your week looked like, the numbers stay the same. This plan is computed from your ability, and the daily feedback keeps it matched to where you are right now.

Q & A

Two questions you might have

"There are plenty of free plans online"

Those plans were written for one specific person — usually the author, or the athlete they were coaching at the time. Whoever it happens to fit, you will not know.

Any pre-written plan — found online, or a generic version sorted by distance and mileage — has the same problem: it does not know how much you should train.

Everyone's ideal training volume is different: some keep improving no matter how much they add, others start regressing past a certain load. A plan that does not know which one you are — following it is a gamble.

"Couldn't ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude generate a training plan too?"

They can, and it will look like the real thing. The difference is these three things:

  • It does not know how much you should train — it gives you an average plan, not one computed from your data
  • It never corrects course — once the plan is generated it is done; it will not know how your weeks went, and will not adjust for them
  • There is no complete training system behind it. Every arrangement in Kuo Feng x AI lives inside the same KFCS logic

Generating a plan is easy. What is hard is why the plan looks the way it does — and how it will follow you through the months ahead.

PROVEN RESULTS

What Coach Hsu Kuo Feng's training logic has delivered

Hsu Kuo Feng coached athletes and training camps in person, and their starting points were never the same. But they used the same periodized scheduling logic — the very logic Kuo Feng x AI is based on today.

THE REAL COST

The most expensive cost of race prep is not the entry fee

From now until race day, what you invest is four to six months of early mornings, hundreds of accumulated kilometers, and a stretch of time in which your body genuinely gets worn down.

You pay these costs no matter what your plan is. The only difference is whether the effort turns into a matching result. Three months trained in the wrong direction cannot be redone — and the same race only comes around once a year.
